Our journey began in 2019 in Northern Ghana, where Jasmine performed field research on shea butter. Collaborating with women-led farming cooperatives, she learned directly from the hands that harvest this sacred ingredient. From that moment, By Abena was born — not just as a business, but as a movement for holistic, intentional care.
